Was in here on a Saturday night, there was late opening. I thought i was in for a treat. But as soon as the other pubs closed this place filled up with drunken people, the place filled in about 30 minutes and they bought no drink. They all seemd to be just standing about chatting, waiting on taxis and chinese deliveries. Very strange.

We had been looking forward to the customer appreciation night special, where all drinks were 3euro but when the pub next door dropped their price to just 2.50 a drink we all went there. Great craic, the customers are winning as the pubs battle it out!

A kaliedescope of clients here. A once charming hostelry, feeling the effects of wear and tear, and in need of a good cleaning. the staff gave a warm reception and even warmer beer.

Nice traditional pub, the customer appreciation night on Stephens Night sounds great, and at a recession busting €3 a drink, how can you go wrong.

This poor little boozer really is suffering the effects of Irelands economic depression. On each side of it there are shops and take-aways all closed up, and offered to let. It really is a faintly shining star on the almost derelict side of main street. So these guys deserve some priase for effort and courage. A bit like selling deck chairs on the Titanic, it was good while it lasted.

Ive seen it all now, this pub is showing the Late Late Toy Show on Friday night. Children are catered for in the upstairs lounge. Fun and games are guaranteed and its thrills and spills all the way. Prizes will be given on the steps of the courthouse for the best newcomers.

Only two pubs on this side of the street in the whole town, and i picked the wrong one to go into. I stopped in while taking a break from paddling up the Erne. It was so cold outside, but my reception was even cooler, looks like strangers arent welcome here. Thankfully the beer was warmer, and apart from the dirty glass, it didnt taste too bad. I decided to go out the back to the new smoking room. It looks like something Niall Melon had left over from one of his township building projects, and must have been especially flown in. I stopped into the toilets before leaving, and made it quick, there was quiet a heavy odour here, and the hand drier wasnt working. I lefty without shaking hands with anyone.

To the idiot writing the 'hilarious' comments (and it doesn't take a genious to work out who you are) cop on, grow up and get a life!! Noone thinks you are funny and your comments are so crap-lack of intelligence involved with someone like you definitely! You can't even spell!!

Have to say a sweaty ould spot, if you want grubby hands.. ask the boss! Priest drinks here so suppose that says a lot. Was an all right night in it, the man with the tash was a very good singer, but it is very dull and dingy..

This is another new pub on Belturbets Golden Mile. Seems like the head barman Brendan, has used all his skills and talents he learned when he was in New York, and recreated a cross between Cheers and Lillies. Spanking new accomodation is very smart and the hostess Eilish is very helpful. The dancing area was a little small, but very popular.

The hospitality must have been reserved for heads of state, as this foriegn dignatory was neither recieved or attended to. The pint quality was ok, compared to what though? The talent was as scarce as smiles on customers faces, which were as as cold as the stainless steel toilets Overall, I couldnt find any widows in here, in fact i had trouble finding the door out, but then again it was 4 in the morning!

Visited this tipplers brook on saturday night, the sign said live music, but all we seen was a guy who looked like half of the Proclaimers, with a drum machine as a side kick. His music was as flat as the beer. Sorry folks, maybe it was an off night?

Olde Worlde Pub, could hear the live music from outside, i asked for a lager shandy and i got one..made with red lemonade! I asked for it to be made white lemonade, and they said they didnt have any. I had to pay for a 7up and a glass of lager to make the lager shandy. Funny policy i thought, is this normal in pubs in Ireland?

Seen this place in the Sunday World as having the cheapest pint in the country. there seemed to be oil on top of the toilets cisterns.
